At Reelgood, we have been privileged to cut some of the finest factual, entertainment & lifestyle TV programmes, documentaries, short films, feature-film trailers, commercials, music videos and corporates known to man…and woman. So who are these skilled and dedicated individuals I hear you cry? Only Reelgood’s best kept secret…until now.

Derek Pelly aka Butcherboy is our senior offline editor, and has been cutting at Reelgood since 1998. His passion is in long form editing, and he has a real talent for storytelling, a brilliant sense of pace and a keen eye for detail. With 14 years in post-production behind him, Derek has completed a plethora of some of the most talked about TV programmes and docs to date, for a variety of independent production companies.
Recent credits include; Big Time-Bernard Dunne’s Fight for Glory, On Trial, Marry Me,
20 Moments That Shook Irish Sport, Futureshock-Fat Nation, Baby On Board & The Liffey Laugh, but to name a few. Over the years, Derek has also carved out a name for himself cutting short films and feature-film trailers for some of Ireland’s recent box office successes, including Adam & Paul, Song for a Raggy Boy and H3.

Rory Gavin aka Mr. Sheen is Reelgood’s Avid DS editor. With 11 years experience in online editing, colour grading, special effects and motion graphics design, Rory is recognised as one of Ireland’s finest finishers. He has brought his distinctive style to hundreds of hours of national and international television series, documentaries, drama, music videos, adverts and corporate videos, as well as web based productions. Operating out of Reelgood’s new Hi-Def DS suite, Rory’s ability to give any project that amazing bit of spit and polish, is simply stunning.

Bernard Clarke aka Clarky is our commercials editor. He’s first port of call for any short form job, be it a TV advert, music video or corporate profile. Having worked at Reelgood since 2001, Bernard has honed his skills on a variety of projects for many of Ireland’s top ad agencies, and successful companies. His down to earth attitude and politeness make him popular with both clients and colleagues alike. (He bribed us to write that last bit!!)
Also not a stranger to long form, Bernard can also transfer his abilities to TV programming and has an impressive credit list including; Now That’s What I Call Telly 2008, Soupy Norman, So You Want to be Famous, Marry Me and Chain Reactions.

Mark Brennan aka Sparky is our full time assistant editor. Having finished his masters in advertising at DIT, he went on a perilous journey around ad-land, knocking, or more likely banging, at doors to get some experience in the art of copywriting. After getting to work in various agencies around town, he decided that his heart lied in the world of post-production. So he came begging at our door at at the right time and the rest is history. Since 2008, Mark has worked on a number of tv series, including Now Thats What I Call The Telly 2008, On Trial and Idir Mna.

So there you have it, we’re a dedicated team of professionals hungry for high end productions.
